We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Childhood Educator (ECE) to join our team at Al Bushra Elementary School to teach Junior Kindergarten &  Senior Kindergarten on a full-time or occasional basis. 

• Work in collaboration with the classroom teacher to provide high quality and effective play-based education to support enhanced learning and cognitive, emotional and social development for Junior and Senior Kindergarten students.
• Support teacher to develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with Ontario curriculum standards and Al Bushra’s vision and values.
• Support teacher in teaching  a full range of subject areas, including English, mathematics, science, social studies, and more.
• Support teacher in Conducting formal and informal assessments of students, including report cards, progress reports and marking. 
• Establish a positive, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment reflective of the school’s values. 
• Tailor lessons to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities within the classroom. 
• Collaborate in the design of high quality and effective play-based programs and environments.

• The ideal candidate will have completed a two-year community college program in Early Childhood Education, or equivalent.
• Registration and good standing with the Ontario College of Early Childhood Educators is required. 
• A minimum of one (1) year of child care experience is required.
• Valid First Aid certification/CPR is required. 
• Immunization Record with proof of MMR and Tdap immunizations (as well as a personal declaration of having chicken pox in the past, or the chicken pox vaccine) 
• Passion for teaching and motivating students in an Islamic educational setting. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Current Vulnerable Sector Check, First Aid / CPR training (asset). 

• Salary: Starting from $22/hr
• Schedule: Day shift, Monday to Friday.
